What the job involves
- The HR Business Partner works across Addison Lee to build and implement a cohesive people agenda that can respond and adapt to the changing environment
- The role holder will be proactive in identifying and subsequently working on initiatives that shape and improve the Addison Lee employee experience – this can range from evolving the recognition and benefits offering, to using the apprenticeship levy for development needs, to supporting on evolving the employee engagement, to evolving Addison Lee’s people management framework and Standards (policies) whilst ensuring equality and inclusion are considered at all stages of the employee journey
- The role holder also acts as a sounding board and advisor to managers on a range of people matters, the escalation for complex employee relations matters, supporting with restructures, TUPEs and other HR projects as needed
- In addition to this, the role holder will manage the two HR Advisors alongside being a mentor and guide for more junior HR colleagues
- Lead on the development and implementation of people plans and solutions
- Provide advice on people related matters to management including but not limited to Standards (policies) and procedures and employee relations
- Proactively review and analyse people data identifying trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention, employee experience etc
- Challenge and influence across Addison Lee, navigating different styles and personalities to build trusted and credible partnerships
- Partner with the Head of HR to ensure full visibility of the HR function across the wider Addison Lee organisation
- Lead in the development of the HR Advisors, supporting their career development as required
- Act as a guide and mentor more junior HR team members
- Be the HR lead on TUPEs and restructures as required
- Develop and maintain compliance of company people Standards (policies) and procedures
