What the job involves
- Define, own, and execute DCA’s integrated growth strategy across new and existing markets including private medical insurance and other channel partners, B2B and B2C channels, aligned with enterprise goals
- Drive new business by securing strategic partnerships, alliances, and revenue streams (direct, intermediary, platform, insurer, provider)
- Lead commercial planning and ensure all propositions are financially sustainable, scalable, and competitively positioned. Guide contract structures and negotiations that maximize value creation for both DCA and clients
- Support the Chief Customer Officer in expanding revenue opportunities with existing corporate clients and partners through creating a clear product sales story
- Primary Executive Leadership of the Sales function, ensuring targets and performance align with the company’s commercial objectives and the Sales Director is taking accountability for the development and execution of the business development strategy
- Primary Executive Leadership of the Marketing function, ensuring performance aligns with the company’s commercial objectives and the Marketing Director is taking accountability for the development and execution of the Go-to-Market strategy
- Partner with Product and Technology leaders to align the customer experience with market needs, ensuring propositions are effectively marketed and commercialized
- Represent DCA externally with credibility at Board, investor, and C-suite level, positioning the organisation as a market leader

Our take
There are mixed opinions about virtual GP services and various ideas around what can and can’t be treated virtually. In recent years, the growth of online doctoring services has exceeded what we probably thought possible. Many are not signed up to an in-person GP anymore and rely on apps like Babylon Health, or Doctor Care Anywhere, an online healthcare platform and application.
Founded in 2013, the company not only offers services to individuals, but companies are also able to sign up employees, which further expands the company’s reach and exposure. And the company launched a mental health programme proposition in 2021, highlighting the ongoing work the practice does alongside its day-to-day appointments and referrals.
Recently, the company partnered with Huma, marking a big leap forward in making healthcare more accessible. By combining their platforms, they'll offer patients the option to book private GP consultations anytime, filling gaps left by the NHS. Its an exciting move for Doctor Care Anywhere and one that's set to propel it to the forefront of digital healthcare.
