  • Ability to handle IT support queries independently, with a user-focused approach and good troubleshooting instincts
  • Solid grasp of IT security principles (e.g. password hygiene, MFA, least privilege)
  • Some hands-on scripting experience (in Python, shell or similar) and an interest in automating repetitive tasks
  • Self-motivation and organisation, with proficiency in prioritising and managing multiple tasks

  • Managing SaaS onboarding, offboarding and basic configuration, using Trelica (SaaS management platform) to follow internal processes (training provided)
  • Expanding and maintaining our internal IT documentation, writing clear, useful guides for audiences of varying technical ability
  • Maintaining and improving our macOS MDM environment (Jamf), supporting both usability and security
  • Automating IT operations using Trelica workflows, scripting and light AWS infrastructure (e.g. Lambda functions)
  • Taking ownership of IT projects end-to-end, such as evaluating, selecting and implementing new SaaS tools, based on requirements from stakeholders including the systems/security lead

Our take

Nature-based assets are increasingly vital for decarbonising the economy, as they are the most efficient means of removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. However, the lack of accessible, understandable, and trustworthy data hinders enterprises from investing in these assets at the necessary scale. This issue, along with regulatory changes like the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the demand for supply chain transparency, is creating a positive tipping point that underscores the need for reliable nature-based data solutions.

Treefera is an AI-enabled data fabric platform that enhances transparency and accuracy in nature-based asset reporting. It provides 360-degree visibility into the first leg of commodity supply chains by integrating satellite, drone, and ground truth data via advanced AI algorithms. Working across commodities and carbon capture, it collates and organises large data sets into actionable, risk-mitigating insights. Treefera provides essential data products and workflows for continuous monitoring, assurance, and risk evaluation at a fraction of the computing power used in other AI tools and makes previously unseen information concerning real-world assets transparent, usable and defensible.

Serving a diverse clientele, including project developers, biochar producers, carbon credit market players, and bioenergy companies, Treefera covers jurisdictions across multiple regions and over 500 registered forest projects and harvest sites. The platform consolidates extensive environmental and forestry data and integrates with client analytics through an API, ensuring seamless access to critical information. As a global enterprise with operations in the US, UK, Europe, LATAM, and Asia, Treefera is committed to making the true power of nature-based solutions visible to all.
