Role
Who you are
- Hybrid Cloud Experience: 6+ years of experience in Cloud Technology and Platforms – Azure, GCP, with at least 3 years specialising in Azure Cloud, MS365 and Entra ID administration
- Regulated Environments: Experience working in regulated environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Support and Troubleshooting: Investigating faults in systems, processes and services, and advising on the implementation of appropriate solutions and preventative measures. Ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations
- Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures
- Vendor Management: Liaising with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and support for Microsoft 365 services
- User Adoption: Driving user adoption of Microsoft 365 tools through training sessions, workshops, and user guides
- Automation Tools: Strong knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Terraform, and other deployment orchestration and configuration management tools - GitHub Action, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes
- Security and Compliance: Experience implementing and managing security policies and compliance measures within Azure Cloud and Microsoft 365
What the job involves
- Technical Expertise: Expert in core and advanced Azure services, compute, storage, networking and automation; with strong expertise in in MS365 and an understanding of Microsoft Identity and access management products such as Entra ID, Conditional Access and Active Directory Domain Services
- Architect and Approve Designs: Work with technical architects to design, translate and implement architectural designs into operations
- Cloud Delivery Ownership: Own the delivery and maintenance of critical cloud services including IaaS, PaaS – Azure SQL, SaaS – MS365, Entra ID, One Drive, SharePoint and Exchange Online; ensure it is fit for purpose and meets organisational requirements
- Cost Optimisation: Analyse and optimise cloud cost; collaborate with teams to create governance framework to efficiently manage resource spending
- Training and Development: Mentor and train team members on Cloud solutions including Microsoft 365 tools and best practices, fostering an inclusive learning environment and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Automation: Develop and maintain complex IaC scripts using Terraform to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload; Use CI/CD tool to automate deployment and establish best practices

Ki is a Lloyd's of London syndicate for providing capital and accepting insurance risks, and was built as a collaboration between Google and specialised insurer Brit. It claims to offer the fastest route for brokers to receive a quote for their clients on the Lloyd's market.
Now the company is closing out a big chapter with a bold step forward. After separating from Brit, Ki is now ready to operate as its own company within the Fairfax Group and it has also teamed up with QBE to boost capacity across 11 major business lines, so brokers have even more access to quality cover through its digital platform.
