UX Research Intern, Kobo

• Rakuten Kobo Inc. is looking for a UX Research Intern to join our Research Team for a 6-month contract!

• Bachelors Degree
• Previous experience conducting quantitative or qualitative research, either in a school or work setting
• Interest in research methodologies and data analysis
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Proactive, “can do” attitude
• High attention to detail: ability to balance overall project goal with key milestones and tasks
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite; specifically, PowerPoint and Excel
• Self-starter with superior organization skills who thrives in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and diplomatically respond to conflicting needs

• Reporting to the Senior Research Manager, the intern will provide crucial support to our research team across a variety of tasks, contributing to the successful execution of research projects from inception to completion
