Full Stack Developer, Spire Global

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in architecting and implementing cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway
• Experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Go, or Java
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively within a distributed team

Desirable

• As a Full Stack Developer, you will design, build, and maintain the software systems that power Spire’s RFGL product suite
• You’ll work across the full stack — from backend services and APIs to front‑end interfaces — ensuring our customers can seamlessly access, visualize, and interact with complex RF‑derived insights
• This role is ideally based in Spire’s Glasgow office, one of our key engineering locations, and will collaborate daily with colleagues across Europe, the US, and APAC

• Develop and maintain full‑stack applications that support Spire’s RFGL product offerings
• Build robust backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that integrate with Spire’s space‑based data infrastructure
• Create intuitive, performant front‑end interfaces for visualizing RF geolocation outputs and analytics
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team to translate product requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure code quality through testing, reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions that improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Monitor and optimize application performance in production environments
• Support continuous integration and deployment workflows
