Role
Who you are
- Proven hunter who can open doors, build pipe, and hit quota
- 5+ years full-cycle enterprise SaaS sales, ideally into Automotive, A&D, Defence, Machinery (France focus)
- Skilled in account planning, opportunity strategy, and frameworks such as SPIN/MEDDICC; comfortable navigating complex comités d’achat and public-sector style RFPs/AOs when needed
- Confident with C-suite and technical audiences
- Experienced selling complex platforms and co-creating high-value solutions with PreSales/Value Engineering
- Strong communicator, structured, and organized across multiple cycles de vente in parallel
- Native French and professional English
What the job involves
- Own the sales motion end-to-end for France: from net-new prospection chasse to closing seven-figure deals with grands comptes industriels (OEMs & Tier-1/2)
- Build strategic account plans for Automotive, Defence, Manufacturing & Aerospace, mapping comités de décision, directions Ingénierie/R&D/Qualité/Programme/Architecture Système, Procurement, and IT/OT stakeholders
- Expand relationships and NRR via multi-site, multi-BU expansion, aligning to roadmaps and feuilles de route
- Engage at the top level and position SPREAD as partenaire de confiance with a clear business case
- Tailor value narratives & demos to French industrial contexts, addressing real pain with crisp use cases
- Forecast accurately: own pipeline hygiene in Salesforce, drive MEDDICC discipline, and deliver precise quarterly commits
Our take
The complexity of modern products, as well as the associated manufacturing processes, has increased over the past few decades. This growing complexity introduces three major challenges for engineers creating complex products. Firstly, the process is often inefficient, with engineers spending large amounts of time on non-productive things like coordination meetings. Secondly, information in this area is often difficult to find: engineers commonly spend around a quarter of their time searching for product information. Thirdly, creating cross-departmental understanding is often highly challenging. In short, things need to get better.
This is where SPREAD comes in. Its software streamlines the product design process at all stages, from providing access to part or component information to suggesting how a product can be assembled and even repaired. These high-level product insights aim to increase efficiency in the design process.
SPREAD has generated a lot of interest with a customer base including major manufacturers such as Audi, Ford, Miele and Porsche. This has led to the startup raising a significant amount of funding which it intends to use for early product development and growth.
