What the job involves

As a Corporate Communications Lead supporting the Head of Communications, you will partner closely with the policy, societal impacts, product, research, and go-to-market teams to develop differentiated messaging, plans and programs that resonate with our priority audiences and elevate major company announcements
You will define and drive our corporate communications strategy as we work to advance the frontier of AI safety
You will also help to develop processes and policies to make the Communications team more efficient and partner with the Head of Communications in scaling a high-performing team
Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communications strategies to elevate Anthropic's brand and effectively communicate our mission, products, culture, and values
Craft messaging and talking points for major company announcements and milestones
Build strong relationships with journalists and relevant influencers
Oversee production of company blog posts, videos, and other communications collateral
Provide communications counsel to the executive teams

Our take

Funded by Google and founded by ex-OpenAI employees, Anthropic is an AI company focused on building a reliable, innovative AI system. While the company is relatively new to the market it has already launched a highly anticipated AI chat assistant called Claude which is set to rival OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Similar to other chatbots, Claude is accessible through a chat interface and can provide a number of conversation and text-processing tasks. A key point of differentiation is that Claude is designed to produce less harmful outputs than that of the other chatbots that came before it.

While there is much praise for the chat assistant, there is still room for improvement with feedback reporting that Claude is worse at maths and grammar compared to its rival. However, with industry giants like Google backing this company from an early stage, and a monumental Series F round of $13 billion awarded in 2025, the company is planning to enhance Claude and expand its presence in Europe. What's more, Anthropic's commitment to "Constitutional AI" positions it as a leader in the responsible development of artificial intelligence.
