Ability to think strategically and follow through on execution
A proven ability to develop tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity and performance
Self starter who is able to operate independently with minimum supervision

What the job involves

Sr Manager, Sales Strategy & Insights is a new role that is key to building and executing the strategy of a best-in-class sales organization
As a strategic partner to Sales Leadership, you will be responsible for crafting compelling sales narratives that clearly articulate Marqeta’s value proposition
In addition, you will develop vertical thought leadership using industry knowledge, research and insights
In addition to being a trusted partner to the Sales team, this is a collaborative role where you will partner with a variety of stakeholders including Revenue Operations, Marketing and Product
Be a strategic thought partner to the Sales leadership team
Craft compelling sales narratives and presentations
Drive industry and vertical thought leadership at scale
Uncover (research) insights that inspire customer action
Support the attainment of quarterly and annual sales goals
Collaborate with partner teams (including Marketing, Product, Revenue Operations) to bring the best of Marqeta to our customers
