Role
Who you are
- We're looking for a results-driven leader who can guide a team to deliver AI solutions that solve real problems in insurance underwriting
- You have a proven track record of 5+ years managing software development teams, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget
- You possess strong project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies
- You have a solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, and how they can be applied to solve problems in insurance underwriting
- You're experienced in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools for specific project needs in the insurance industry
- You're an exceptional communicator, able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and translate insurance business needs into technical requirements
Desirable
- You have hands-on experience implementing AI/ML projects in the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting
- You've led teams in a startup environment or other fast-paced settings within the insurtech space
- You have experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
- You have a track record of staying updated with emerging AI technologies and assessing their practical applications in insurance underwriting

- As our AI Engineering Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our AI initiatives, ensuring they deliver real value in the insurance underwriting space
- Lead a team of skilled AI engineers, setting clear objectives and ensuring timely delivery of projects focused on insurance underwriting
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for all AI initiatives in the insurance domain
- Collaborate with insurance industry stakeholders to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate them into actionable projects for underwriting
- Oversee the selection and implementation of AI tools and technologies, always with an eye on pragmatic business value for insurance underwriters
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of AI solutions for insurance underwriting
