Who you are

Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
Excellent Python programming skills with a focus on production-grade code
Experience with ML ops and deploying models to production environments
Track record of turning research concepts into practical business solutions
Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders
Deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals, neural network architectures, and modern AI frameworks
Experience in implementing complex ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow

What the job involves

Lead the development of AI solutions that transform complex construction industry processes into streamlined, intelligent workflows
Architect and implement machine learning models, focusing on both traditional ML and advanced generative AI approaches
Customize and fine-tune large language models to address specific construction industry challenges
Design and conduct experiments to validate AI solutions' effectiveness and scalability
Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to transform promising prototypes into production-ready features
Establish best practices for AI development and implementation within Cosuno
Mentor team members on AI/ML best practices and drive technical excellence

Our take

Cosuno predicts that traditional methods of bidding and awarding construction services are obsolete, associated with significant wasted time and a lack of transparency. The startup aims to solve this problem by developing a B2B marketplace that provides project managers access to a database of around 80,000 subcontractors related to the construction industry.

Consuno's business model involves charging clients a monthly fee for access to their Software-as-a-Service product. Clients advertise their projects on the platform, receive applications from contractors in the area and approve the bids from the applicant selected. By 2021, over €1bn were processed in transactions through the platform since its conception.

The construction industry is currently experiencing rapid growth, leading to a scarce labor force and increased prices. Cosuno aims to capitalize on this opportunity by digitizing the construction industry and providing project managers with a one-stop shop that allows them to manage everything related to working with construction subcontractors on just one platform.
