- 1+ years of experience in sales development, product-led sales, or another customer-facing role

- Familiarity with Salesforce and sales engagement tools; experience with PLG platforms or product analytics tools is a plus

What the job involves
- We’re hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our evolving go-to-market strategy, with an initial focus on our Product-Led Growth (PLG) motion
- In this role, you'll be the first point of human contact for many prospects engaging with our free trial experience—supporting activation, uncovering buying intent, and identifying product-qualified leads (PQLs)
- While the immediate priority is supporting PLG, this role is intentionally designed to flex across other top-of-funnel motions, including inbound and outbound engagement
- Engage with free trial users to understand their goals, support product activation, and identify sales opportunities
- Qualify and route product-qualified leads (PQLs) based on usage signals, fit, and intent
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and growth teams to accelerate trial conversion
- Support broader pipeline generation efforts across inbound and/or outbound as needed
- Leverage tools like SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, Copilot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to engage prospects and prioritize outreach
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and contribute to continuous process improvements
- Share insights from user interactions to help improve messaging, product onboarding, and conversion strategy
- Work at the intersection of product and sales to shape a modern go-to-market motion

Our take
Cybercriminals are now leveraging the power of automation to make the current threat landscape too advanced for a lot of legacy antivirus software. SentinelOne is a cybersecurity company that matches this automation, with machine learning-focused software that is built to help businesses battle online attacks.
The company expanded the scope of its business from the endpoint security market to three markets valued at a combined $30 billion, including the corporate endpoint security and IT operations management markets. This gives SentinelOne a bigger potential customer base, although also puts them in direct competition with more focused cybersecurity companies, in addition to its biggest competitor, CrowdStrike.
When the company went public, it made financial headlines as the highest-valued cybersecurity IPO ever, which gave SentinelOne a market cap of $10B, though it's now fallen to around $4B. It has subsequently launched S Ventures, a $100M fund, through which SentinelOne invests in cybersecurity startups and has expanded its partnership with major tax firm KPMG to accelerate cyber investigations and responses to threats.
