Our take
Women for Women International is a prominent humanitarian organization empowering women survivors of war and conflict. It equips them with practical skills, financial literacy, and awareness of their rights to foster economic independence and self-sufficiency in challenging post-conflict regions.
By combining vocational training with sponsorship programs, Women for Women creates a network of support that not only addresses immediate needs but also promotes lasting change. By fostering solidarity among the women it serves while advocating for women's rights, the organization aims to create a sustainable impact on the lives of beneficiaries and their communities.
Since its founding in 1993, Women for Women has demonstrated significant success in transforming the lives of over half a million women. Persistently advocating for women's rights and forging partnerships with other charities and NGOs working in the sector, Women for Women is well-positioned to continue making a tangible difference in the lives of those it serves.
