Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft office experience, especially including excel
- Maintain a positive, solutions focused attitude
- Ability to use good judgement and keep client information confidential
What the job involves
- Drive growth in a key strategic channel for ISlide by selling to team customers
- Respond to customer inquiries and talk through the ISlide order process, including product offerings, pricing, turnaround times, custom art information, and much more
- Explain the value proposition of ISlide vs competitors and other apparel products
- Process orders, including submitting order documents, invoicing and communicating with external partners on payment status, and communicating partner expectations and order details to operations team, including timelines, prioritization, and incoming order volume
- Obtain new accounts such as sport teams, brands, and retailers
- Assist in account partnership development with teams, brands, and stores to grow the ISlide customer base and generate sales
- Create digital mockups and virtual proofs of customer ideas
- Create, analyze, and present sales reports based on account and category performance
- Coordinate with sales team to execute new initiatives
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Deliver consistent excellent customer service to internal/external customers, colleagues and management
Our take
ISlide specializes in customizable slides, sandals, and other footwear products. The company was founded in 2013 by Justin Kittredge, a former head of Reebok Basketball, with a vision to create a unique slide that could be tailored to individual preferences.
The company has partnerships with many professional sports teams, athletes and Hollywood stars, as well as several colleges and universities. ISlide has received several awards for its innovative designs and business practices, including being named one of the "Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in the World" by Fast Company in 2018.
More recently, the company has branched out and has now added apparel to its offerings, allowing fans and athletes to dress head to toe in custom gear. Alongside side this ISlide has introduced new partnerships with Perfect Game and FC Barcelona, in order to increase its brand on the feet of baseball and soccer players around the world.
