Who you are
- Contributed to significant product building end-to-end experiences from backend to UI
- Experienced with modern JS web frameworks (React.js, Next.js, and Typescript)
- Experienced with databases (SQL, NoSQL, and text search)

What the job involves
- As a product engineer, you’ll build and ship responsible AI-powered products to millions of users
- You'll help expand our AI-detection and verification platform and create new products
- You'll build new features, UIs, and APIs, and partner closely with our ML and design teams to create delightful user experiences
- Ship intuitive, industry-defining, AI-powered products to our millions of users
- Own your work end-to-end while collaborating with an elite engineering team
- Operate throughout the product lifecycle, from user discovery, analytics, triage, and experimentation
- Collaborate on defining the product roadmap with our ML, design, and business teams
- Design robust software with comprehensive test suites and monitoring
Our take
Since generative AI exploded onto the scene, it has been put to good use across a range of industries. Unfortunately, it has also been used to ramp up the production of subpar content which is misleading or completely incorrect. Not to mention it has helped proliferate academic fraud.
GPTZero is on a mission to help combat this AI epidemic, with a platform capable of identifying content written by AI tools such as ChatGPT. Its solutions can help teachers, students, writers, recruiters and more to build back the trust that has been broken by easy-to-access gen-AI.
The company's mission is certainly compelling, and investors agree, with GPTZero receiving impressive funding already. It will use the funds to support its roadmap which includes the development and launch of many new features such as an editor platform that records and cites AI usage.
