Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in inbound marketing, with a proven track record of scaling Paid Acquisition and SEO programs in high-growth B2B SaaS (or DTC Subscription companies)
- Deep expertise in SEM (Google Ads, Bing), Paid Social (Primary: Meta/ Instagram and YouTube, Connected TV Secondary: LinkedIn, TikTok, X/Twitter), Display/Programmatic, and other paid channels
- Global campaign management experience across North America including CA and MX. English speaking markets (UK,ANZ) and key European markets
- Strong knowledge of SEO strategy and execution, including content strategy, keyword research, technical SEO, and backlink building
- Analytical mindset with a mastery of performance metrics, attribution models, and platforms like Google Analytics/ Mixpanel, HubSpot, Salesforce, and BI tools
- Experience managing large budgets and driving efficiency across channels (CAC, ROAS, LTV)
- Collaborative leader with a history of building and managing high-performing teams and agency partners
- Data-driven, hands-on, and scrappy when needed—you’re as comfortable in strategy meetings as you are building campaigns
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present and advocate for strategies at the executive level
- Experience with CRO, landing page optimization, and A/B testing
- Knowledge of AI tools for campaign optimization, content creation, and SEO
- Knowledge of website development processes and work flows
- Knowledge of tools such as Funnel.io/ Supermtreics to manage paid reporting. Working knowledge of data engineering, Google Big Query and web analytics (Google Analytics/ Mixpanel) to drive requirements for looker dashboard building
- Background in scaling companies from $50M to $200M ARR (or similar growth trajectory)
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Director of Inbound Growth to lead and scale our inbound customer acquisition engine
- Reporting to the CMO, you’ll own our Paid Acquisition and SEO strategies, leading a cross-functional team and agency partners to drive qualified traffic, conversions, and pipeline growth
- You’ll balance high-level strategy with in-the-weeds execution to deliver measurable results and help us achieve our next stage of growth
- Own the inbound growth strategy across Paid Acquisition and SEO channels, aligned to revenue and pipeline goals
- Develop and scale multi-channel paid acquisition campaigns, including search, social, display, and emerging platforms. Optimize Opportunities, CAC, ROAS, and pipeline contribution
- Drive SEO strategy, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives. Lead content strategies that enhance organic visibility, authority, and traffic growth
- Partner with Product Marketing, Brand and Content teams to align messaging, landing pages, and content with customer pain points and personas
- Test and experiment across channels to identify and scale new inbound growth levers
- Own the analytics and reporting framework—track performance, report on KPIs, and optimize based on data-driven insights
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team, including in-house talent and external agency partners
- Collaborate with Sales, RevOps and BI/ Analytics team to ensure seamless lead handoff, pipeline quality, and closed-loop reporting
- Manage and allocate multi-million dollar budgets efficiently to maximize impact
- Stay ahead of industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to keep us competitive and innovative
Our take
The short-term rental economy has gone from strength to strength since the revolutionary introduction of Airbnb into the industry. Now startups are competing to iron out the kinks in vacation and rental experiences for both landlords and tenants.
Guesty is doing this through building the Salesforce for property management. By focusing on the operational hiccups of running a short-term rental property - and there are many - Guesty has built up a loyal customer base who are grateful for the software which unlocks time and money.
The company is now investing in growth and technology while extending its marketplace of third-party integrations. It is also continuing to build out its machine learning capabilities which augments many of its products, triaging guest messages for example.
The startup is also starting to develop products for other types of property, including multi-unit listings and “aparthotels.” Guesty must continue to deliver a quality service for these new types of customers who will bring with them higher expectations than casual hosts.
