- Extremely high degree of business acumen to work with business peers and technology competency to build and optimize marketing technology
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in marketing operations or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience with marketing automation tools (such as HubSpot)
- Subject matter expertise with tools for email (like HubSpot), text automation (like Klaviyo) web optimization metrics, lead routing, and attribution and analytics
- Deep knowledge of enabling and overseeing marketing automation from start to finish
- Deep analytical skills with an understanding of how to interpret, formulate and present actionable data, including setting metrics for individual and company-wide initiatives
What the job involves
- As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and optimizing our processes using our marketing automation tools and systems
- You'll be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, reporting on key metrics, and supporting our marketing, growth, and operations teams in achieving their goals
- As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing and optimizing our marketing campaigns using Klaviyo and other marketing tools
- Develop and maintain marketing emails, workflows, sequences, landing pages, and templates
- Data Analysis and Reporting
- Help regular reports and dashboards to provide insights to the marketing, customers success, sales, operations, and leadership teams
- Implement best practices for lead management, nurturing, and scoring
- Evaluate and recommend new marketing technologies to enhance capabilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on marketing platforms and operations

Startups can craft investment pitches onto a webpage and raise capital from thousands of investors online. Investors, in turn, can browse through projects, diving deeper into campaigns and view necessary information like investor snapshots and financial documents laid out in a simple format. Unlike legacy crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter - which are typically used for one-off creative projects or financial assistance - StartEngine's pitches are thoroughly vetted and supported by Account Managers to help with legal and financial technicalities.
Although the largest, StartEngine faces stiff competition from platforms like Wefunder and Nextseed (who, although smaller in terms of deal volume, have a higher funding success rate at 93%). The company has passed 1 million registered users and is set to see further growth following its partnership with IndieGoGo.
