Backend Software Engineer, Neonomics

• Solid experience with Java 8+ (2–5 years of professional experience)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Maven
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and software best practices
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Good understanding of software design principles and version control with Git

• As a Mid-Level Backend Software Engineer , you’ll help design, build, and scale reliable backend services that power our Open Banking platform. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers who’ll support your growth, while giving you the freedom to take real ownership of your projects:
• Design and implement RESTful APIs that make banking data come alive
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code using Java and Spring Boot
• Build containerized services with Docker and deploy them to GCP
• Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and data teams to deliver features end-to-end
• Manage and optimize SQL databases for performance and reliability
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software practices, from code reviews to CI/CD pipelines
• Be part of shaping the future of Open Banking through creative problem-solving and scalable architecture design
