Role
Who you are
- Experienced: 6+ years of professional coding experience across different parts of the stack
- Polyglot engineer: Strong proficiency in at least one of Rust, Go, or TypeScript, with curiosity and flexibility to learn others as needed
- Infrastructure-aware: Familiar with GCP, AWS, and bare-metal server operations; experience deploying and running production systems
- Kubernetes-savvy: Comfortable working with container orchestration
- Clear communicator: Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken; able to convey technical and non-technical concepts, and align teams on requirements, priorities, and urgency
- Autonomous: You can take a project from idea to production with minimal supervision
- Collaborative: Strong communicator who can clearly share progress, challenges, and solutions with technical and non-technical teams
- Problem-solver: Analytical, resourceful, and motivated to tackle a wide range of technical challenges
- Leadership: You combine deep technical expertise with leadership skills to guide project execution, foster collaboration, and ensure high-quality code delivery
- Web3-fluent: Good understanding of the web3 / blockchain / crypto ecosystem, and interest in building infrastructure that powers decentralized systems
What the job involves
- We are the Infrastructure Team at Gnosis, responsible for the core systems behind the Gnosis Chain, its bridges, and much of the wider Gnosis ecosystem
- Our work provides the foundation for other teams and ventures, ensuring the network remains secure, scalable, and reliable
- From cloud to bare-metal, we handle the infrastructure challenges that keep Gnosis running and growing
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Rust, Go, or TypeScript (at least one proficiency required)
- Contribute across the stack: backend services, frontend interfaces, APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Work with a variety of deployment environments: cloud platforms (mostly GCP) and bare-metal servers
- Manage and optimize containerized workloads; leverage Kubernetes where appropriate
- Implement monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices to ensure reliability and maintainability
- Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver features end-to-end
- Investigate and resolve performance, scalability, and operational issues across the stack
- Bring a pragmatic mindset: able to balance speed, quality, and technical debt trade-offs
- Communicate effectively across teams to clarify requirements, priorities, and urgency
Our take
Gnosis is a leader in decentralised technology, providing infrastructure and tools for an open internet. Since launching in 2015, it has evolved from a predication market platform to a key web3 player. Its products, like Safe (a multisig wallet) and CoW Protocol (MEV-protected trading), are that the forefront of decentralised finances, while Gnosis Chain offers low-cost, secure blockchain infrastructure.
Beyond infrastructure, Gnosis is building decentralised apps (dApps) focused on payments, decentralised AI, and the open web. Its Gnosis Pay platform offers a crtypto-linked Visa Debit Card, enabling users to spend crypto at millions of Visa-accepting locations, bringing a seamless user experience with decentralised benefits.
This partnership with Visa marks a major step for the company, merging traditional finance with blockchain tech. This collaboration makes crypto payments more accessible and could very well help expand Gnosis' global reach, positioning the company for even more growth and innovation in the future.
