What the job involves

  • As an intern in the Paris Operations team, you will be supporting us in handling the day-to-day operations from selecting the best potential founders to help them through our programme where we support them to find a cofounder, build their startup and raise funds
  • Candidate's journey: Our first customers are our candidates and founders, and we want to make sure they have a memorable experience at EF.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the process runs smoothly for candidates, from the moment they apply until they sign their offer to join our next cohort
  • Founder's journey: Once the programme starts, you will be responsible for coordinating the schedule and the delivery of our programme to optimize the effectiveness of the team building, ideation and investment phases
  • Events operations: We regularly run events with EF speakers and external stakeholders, and you will be responsible for ensuring the event runs smoothly
  • You will get the opportunity to sit in on these events and learn from inspiring entrepreneurs (recently, we have organized a Hackathon with Meta, and a 2-day bootcamp on climate tech)
  • Data intelligence and analysis: EF is in a unique position to collect and aggregate valuable data to improve our assessment of founder and team quality
  • You will be contributing to improving our data collection processes, monitoring our data systems and adapting our tooling
  • You will also be in charge of synthesising information, deriving actionable insights and developing hypotheses and recommendations to adjust our processes
  • Surround yourself with the world’s smartest and most ambitious individuals and have the opportunity to help develop an institution that can transform the lives of the most impactful people
  • Supercharge your learning - you will have a very steep learning curve and work alongside a talented, ambitious, and committed team
  • Embed yourself within the EF network - we work with the best founders and investors in France
  • Shadow the individual meetings with founders, including mock investor questions sessions
  • Be based at Station F, at the heart of the French tech ecosystem

Our take

Entrepreneur First is a “talent investor” that recruits and backs individuals pre-team and pre-idea to enable them to found startups.

The company pioneered this new model of talent investing. While other accelerators typically back founders with semi-established businesses, EF was the first to back individuals and match them with other founders during the program.

The company already has a great portfolio of investments, including Cleo, CloudNC and Permutive.
