Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience (5 years) in engineering management or a similar leadership role
- Strong technical background
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Portuguese
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our team
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating engineering projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget
- The Engineering Manager will be responsible for fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment while providing technical guidance to team members
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team
- Foster a customer centric culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting their professional growth
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects
- Develop project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure project milestones are met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering projects with overall business objectives
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements, and incorporate relevant innovations into the development process
- Manage engineering resources efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and expertise
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent
- Foster open communication within the engineering team and with other departments
- Report on project status, milestones, and challenges to executive leadership
- Identify potential risks in projects and develop mitigation strategies
- Proactively address and resolve issues to minimize impact on project timelines
