Who you are

Minimum of 5 years of relevant Platform or API Product Management experience, working in a technically complex capacity
Demonstrable experience working in partnership with engineering and applied science teams with a deep understanding of API technologies
Technical ability to understand a complex AI platform, including some understanding of machine learning
Experience working with users of a platform's API to understand requirements
Experience with market research
Degree within a related field, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Maths or equivalent

What the job involves

As our Platform/API Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our AI platform
This role offers a fascinating problem space where you’ll be working with our unique, proprietary tech, with the opportunity to define our API & architecture
You will be working with our technical teams on defining the services and wrapping them together in our endpoints
Working closely with Applied Scientists, Platform Engineers, Ontologies and Language Experts, you'll own the product roadmap for these technical teams
You will prioritise between customer requests (as of now, internal customers) and big, strategic roadmap ideas

UnlikelyAI is startup setting out to use Artificial Intelligence to solve challenges previously considered impossible for computers, in order to advance the state-of-the-art technology further.

It is an early-stage company that's built a unique form of AI model named neuro-symbolic AI, incorporating neural network approaches best known from the likes of OpenAI but integrating this with Symbolic AI architecture. The latter can address the weaknesses of LLMs (mainly its "hallucinations) as it "mimics" human reasoning. Unlikely's first product was Crossword Genius - an app that uses AI and machine vision to solve cryptic crosswords.

The company has raised a large sum of money, most recently in an oversubscribed 2022 seed round, and is backed by an experienced founder- William Tunstall-Pedoe- who was heavily involved with the development and release of Amazon Alexa. UnlikelyAI believes that AI has the potential to shape the modern world, thus, the company aims to find bigger applications of AI in different contexts in the future. 2024 leadership hires will revitalise the company's strategy and growth as it develops new products.
