Who you are

Experience building web apps and/or services to support a great product
Experience working in complex stakeholder & regulated environments involving many partners and services
Proficiency in Python and SQL
Experience in API development
Experience in a start-up or enterprise within a highly technical market segment, such as AI, security, finance and blockchain, or infrastructure
Proficiency building & deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working in a cloud computing platform like GCP or AWS
Experience working with payment systems and in finance including an understanding of how different payment networks work, e.g. ACH, Fedwire, SWIFT

Desirable

Knowledge of distributed systems including trade-offs made to either support higher load or lower latency within an application
Knowledge of accounting or financial software
Experience mentoring junior engineers

Our team is looking for a Backend Engineer to join our core product team in New York City to help build & scale Rho’s all-in-one finance platform
