Who you are
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Rising senior or beyond at time of internship and have a graduation date between 12/2025 - 12/2026. All applicants should be returning to school at the end of their internship to continue their academic studies
- Prior internship, collegiate project team, or laboratory experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, task, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work
- U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data
What the job involves
- As a Financial Analyst Intern at Epirus, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and strategic decision-making
- You will work closely with our finance team to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and contribute to our overall financial health
- Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and profitability
- Prepare financial models and projections
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Support the budgeting process by gathering data and analyzing variances
- Support the financial planning and management of projects and programs
- Monitor and analyze project performance against financial targets
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Leverage strategic and analytical ability to contribute to various financial projects as needed, including market research and competitive analysis
