Who you are

The role requires someone who is highly analytical and strategic, approaches problems in a structured manner, and is comfortable with ambiguity
A passion for financial services innovation
4-6 years of experience including 2+ years of business operations or revenue operations, investment banking or management consulting
Strong analytical, financial modeling and presentation skills
Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization
Proficiency with BI tools and CRM systems, including Salesforce, Tableau, knowledge of SQL

What the job involves

The GTM Operations & Strategy team is focused on solving some of Plaid's most pressing business issues. We are a small team of individuals with complementary skill sets
In this role, you will work collaboratively across Product, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Ops and Strategic Finance teams on a variety of strategic initiatives with a direct and quantifiable impact on our customers, partners, and P&L. You will identify actionable insights, assess their impact, and lead execution & implementation
Support day-to-day revenue operations of a fast growing Revenue team
Develop and track key revenue metrics through dashboards and reporting
Analyze data to drive execution and identify opportunities for operational improvement and strategic decision-making
Initiate, manage, and successfully execute new, cross-functional initiatives that increase alignment and create synergies across Plaid
Establish and maintain efficient operating model for GTM Revenue team, including running monthly business reviews and driving analysis to assess GTM performance

Our take

Plaid builds infrastructure that allows consumers to interact with their bank account on the web through a number of third-party applications, like Venmo, Robinhood, Coinbase, Acorns and LendingClub.

Plaid has integrated with over 12,000 financial institutions in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe. And about a quarter of people living in North America with bank accounts have linked with Plaid through at least one of the hundreds of apps that leverage Plaid’s application program interfaces (APIs).

The platform allows companies to create financial services applications without having to hire their own team of engineers to build out a tool that connects apps to its users’ bank accounts. This is very valuable in a world where there are increasing number of fintechs, so the demand for Plaid's services are only going to grow.
