Who you are
- Ability to influence & partner with key internal stakeholder teams: senior leadership, product, design, brand marketing, engineering and finance to ensure shared vision and drive initiatives forward
- Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Ability to create and improve operational processes across many teams
- A team player who can collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting to and communicating with senior leadership
- Expertise in Excel and data visualization tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in a growth or operations role at a consumer facing company
- 2+ years of business-to-consumer growth experience across marketing and/or product
- Expertise in Excel and familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, Tableau)
Desirable
- 4+ years successfully designing, implementing and running operational processes at a technology company
- Experience building cross-channel campaigns to drive user engagement from the ground up
- Experience growing engagement for a specific product from launching to ramping to maintenance to measurement
- Experience in leading cross functional working groups to drive towards a specific goal
- Proven track record of operational excellence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment working with stakeholders across corporate functions
- A team player who’s willing to get their hands dirty and help where needed

- This team of Designers, Scientists, and Product Managers works in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that innovate and improve the performance of the Snapchat app and our advertising platform
- Together these teams drive value and success for our customers and bring our community together in new and special ways
- We’re looking for a Growth Operations Manager to join the Growth team at Snap Inc!
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for consumer-facing product launches
- Lead the creation of positioning, messaging, and value propositions for product updates
- Collaborate with growth and product teams to optimize the user experience across the entire funnel, from acquisition to retention
- Develop and manage programs to activate power users and encourage authentic user content generation on social platforms
- Analyze market trends, user behavior, and campaign performance to refine product marketing strategies
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations and improve workflows
- Design and implement scalable processes to support growth initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
- Develop systems for tracking progress, measuring performance, and ensuring accountability across projects
- Continuously optimize tools and processes to increase productivity and efficiency
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional (XFN) meetings to ensure alignment, clear communication, and efficient execution of key projects and initiatives
- Act as a central point of coordination among teams to drive consensus and resolve roadblocks effectively
- Partner with legal, marketing, Product and communications teams to execute complex projects seamlessly
- Facilitate cross-departmental alignment to support business growth and operational efficiency
- Define success metrics, monitor progress, and create comprehensive reports to evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives
- Identify gaps in user experience and relay actionable insights to product teams for continuous improvement
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the company's product offerings (e.g., AR tools, Lens Studio) to effectively support and advocate for users and developers

Our take
Snap is the social media giant that owns Snapchat, a social media mobile app released in 2011. Created to serve as a more emotive communication form than texting, the app has gained mass popularity, reaching upwards of 400 million daily users worldwide.
After rejecting a billion dollar acquisition from Meta (then Facebook) in 2013, Snap has found itself in competition with the social media giant, particularly with Instagram. Despite this, the company has marked a place for itself in the ever competitive social media space through developing features like a Discover tab, augmented reality lenses, in-app games, ads and monetisation options, as well as launching its paid service, Snapchat+.
Snap has so far not earned an annual profit since going public in 2017, but as Snapchat's user base has continually increased it has nearly closed the gap. Like other tech companies it suffered in late 2022 due to a surprise drop in advertising revenue, but has been rebuilding to its former trajectory since then. Given Snapchat's lasting popularity amongst young people, further success appears likely.
