Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years working in a DevOps or related role at software organizations
- Expertise in the following technologies: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Lens, Terraform, Sentry, and Cypress
- 3+ years building QA and reliability infrastructure
- Knowledge/experience with GCP products and services
- Experience in setting up and maintaining development infrastructure
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts like autoscaling, failover, redundancy, traffic analysis, etc
- Strong background in debugging and diagnosing network bottlenecks
- Experience with security administration
- Your understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, specifically within the context of healthcare systems, is strong
- You’re an excellent communicator, and are comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
- You want to work in a high-growth environment that can match your career growth

What the job involves
- Ash is seeking a highly experienced engineer who can bring DevOps and system expertise to a rapidly growing team
- As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be able to work across the organization to design and maintain key systems and processes that scale in tandem with a rapidly growing healthcare company
- Teams at Ash work on a variety of challenging problems, ranging from building asynchronous systems that handle complex order fulfillment tasks at scale, to designing web experiences that allow patients to access care more easily
- You’ll be a leading voice in helping teams like these in the development of strong infrastructure, reliable systems, and QA practices
- Work with engineering teams to build infrastructure solutions to problems throughout the business
- Support teams across the organization in establishing strong deployment pipelines and QA processes
- Work across the organization to strengthen development, testing, and alerting infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable Kubernetes clusters, and implement best practices for container orchestration, monitoring, and automation
- Identify network bottlenecks and performance issues
- Conduct regular audits to ensure network security and compliance

It was created to help facilitate a healthcare environment that is both inclusive and accessible to all, which includes those who cannot travel out to receive healthcare.
Its white-label testing solution offers customizable tests based on client needs, with over 10 partner labs to deliver results - and upwards of 50,000 tests already completed since Ash was launched. With tech advances improving the quality and connectivity of portable equipment and communications, it's proving an innovative way of addressing the thousands of medically underserved areas in the United States.
The market, however, is correspondingly competitive. Startups like LetsGetChecked and Everlywell are examples of a growing number of home diagnostics startups which have been attracting VC money over recent years. Ash Wellness has successfully raised funding, which will help it set itself apart in the market as it invests in its services moving forwards.
