Role
Who you are
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with React and popular React workflows (such as Redux, React Context API)
- Strong expertise in TypeScript
- Deep understanding of modern React patterns including hooks, context, and performance optimization
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Understanding of authentication flows (Auth0)
- Strong problem-solving and architectural design skills
- Experience with code review and mentoring junior developers
- Experience with agile development methodologies
Desirable
- Experience with React Query (TanStack Query) for data fetching and cache management
- Experience with routing in React applications (TanStack Router)
- Strong understanding of form handling in React (React Hook Form)
- Proficiency in testing React applications (Vitest, React Testing Library)
- Experience with component documentation (Storybook)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Experience with performance monitoring tools (Datadog)
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and WCAG compliance
- Experience with feature flagging systems (Launch Darkly)
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced Frontend React Developer who is passionate about crafting high-quality, engaging user interfaces
- In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing the user experience of our digital commerce platforms, focusing on performance, scalability, and clean, maintainable code
- Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications with React
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
- Write functional requirement documents and guides
- Be involved in the CI/CD process
