Who you are
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document vehicle condition and maintenance needs
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Experience with vehicle assessment tools and reporting systems is advantageous
- Full UK driving license (essential)

- Please note that this is a shift work role based at our Woolwich & Hayes depot, operating Monday through Sunday, 7 AM to 4 PM
- Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles upon their return to the depot, identifying any damage, wear and tear, or maintenance requirements
- Accurately log all findings in internal tracking systems, ensuring complete and transparent documentation
- Oversee the repair cost recovery process, from calculating expenses and submitting them to Payroll to ensuring full reimbursement from the responsible individual in a timely manner
- Monitor driver performance using onboard telematics data, identifying trends and ensuring adherence to safety and efficiency standards
- Liaise with the Fleet Maintenance Team to communicate necessary repairs and maintenance work, ensuring timely servicing and minimal vehicle downtime
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all fleet inspection and maintenance procedures
- Generate and present regular reports on fleet condition, highlighting recurring issues and providing actionable recommendations for improvement
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance overall fleet performance, efficiency, and reliability

At the same time, customer service is notoriously poor, unethical business practices are rampant, and the technology is outdated. HIVED offers an alternative: 100% electric delivery, cutting emissions by up to 76%.
The company's technology is so efficient, it can match – or sometimes even be cheaper – than the current high-emission carriers. HIVED has fundamentally set itself apart from larger competitors by cutting their emissions by 76%, which will be a significant advantage as the UK is witnessing a green economic boom in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The industry's expansion grew to $141.05 bn globally in 2025, which will undoubtedly be underpinned by a push towards sustainability. HIVED is well-positioned to capitalise on this, particularly if it can maintain its current high standards off the back of its impressive 2025 Series B investment round.
