Who you are

You have upwards of eight years’ experience as a Developer, covering
Front end: ‘being the subject matter expert’ when it comes to the Javascript framework (e.g. Vue / Angular / React) as well as being strong in the fundamentals (HTML, CSS and vanilla JS)
Back end: you’ll also have some back end experience experience, ideally in Ruby (or similar), developing and testing RESTful APIs
As a Senior Developer you are passionate about scalability, code quality and maintainability
You’re passionate about mentoring and leading more junior engineers
Exposure to TDD and agile development methodologies

What the job involves

Working with the product managers and our product designer to find the best technical solutions to complex business problems, with a particular focus on UX
Working full stack to deliver these solutions, test first, pairing with other team members as needed
Continuously analysing and evaluating the codebase to suggest improvements & refactoring to deliver these - in particular we will be looking to you to drive our front end strategy, tooling and processes
Contribute to wider best practices and influence the direction of the team as it grows, driving our key metrics - release rate, lead time, change failure rate and time to restore

This system bypasses the cognitive bias of the intermediary in the initial outreach to prospective candidates and levels the playing field, ensuring equal opportunity and thereby naturally improving the diversity of all candidates.

Nurole has 60,000+ members across more than 100 countries, and has placed over 2,500 people into board roles at companies ranging from multinational listed businesses, to VC-backed scale ups, to charities, government bodies, and everything in between.

There are a few platforms working in the automated job matching space such as Hired and Vettery. However they focus on junior and middle management roles. Nurole focuses on filling global board roles, markets which have historically favoured those who knew the right people and that fit the traditional profile, rather than those most deserving.
