Senior Accountant, Pointclickcare

• 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel Skills

Desirable

• The Senior Accountant - Revenue Accounting will report directly to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, and play a key role in supporting the Revenue Accounting team with compliance, reporting and IT transformation activities
• The role includes but is not limited to month end close and reporting activities, reconciling key accounts, revenue share calculations and supporting the external audit
• Additionally, this role will play a critical support role in the rollout of a new billing system, assisting with data cleansing and migration activities, UAT testing support and other ad-hoc tasks as required
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close activities:
• Prepare assigned journal entries for close
• Roll forward and prepare revenue reporting decks ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Perform account reconciliations for key revenue and balance sheet general ledger accounts, understanding underlying balances, investigating, communicating and resolving discrepancies as identified
• Perform standard revenue share calculations as assigned, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms
• Support external audit requests by coordinating with auditors and internal business partners, reviewing documentation for quality and accuracy prior to submission
• Assist with data cleansing, data migration and UAT testing activities with system implementation
• Documentation of new processes, process controls and improvements resulting from system implementation
