Who you are
- We are looking for a leader with a strategic mindset, strong operational expertise, and the ability to foster a high-performance environment
- 8-12+ years of relevant experience in an operations and/or consulting capacity, including at least 2 years in a senior operations role within tech. Experience in digital health and/or insurance operations is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership ability in managing complex operations or production teams of 20+ people, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
- Proven track record of operational mastery and strategic thinking, with the ability to develop and implement operational strategies that align with business goals
- Strong commitment to enhancing stakeholder experiences within the healthcare ecosystem, including members, referring providers, DMEPOS suppliers, and payors
- Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense
- Demonstrated ability to influence and cultivate collaborative relationships with cross functional departments
- Strong communication and organizational skills, capable of synthesizing complex information and presenting it effectively to diverse audiences
- Capable of balancing multiple initiatives across various content areas and switching between them seamlessly

- Tomorrow Health is seeking a Senior Director of Operations to join our team
- Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading and managing day-to-day operations, overseeing the Customer Service, Operations, Training, and Strategy & Operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency
- Your role will involve driving improvements in stakeholder experiences and achieving financial targets
- Collaborating directly with our Growth, Finance, and Tech teams, you will develop and execute strategic operational plans, optimize workflows through process improvement and automation, and ensure that operational performance meets or exceeds benchmarks
- As the Senior Director of Operations at Tomorrow Health, you will be responsible for the following key outcomes:
- Achieve order turnaround time benchmarks
- Deliver a best-in-class contribution margin
- Maintain market leading member CSAT scores
- Uphold contractual phone SLAs for partner payors
- Drive payor partner ROI
Our take
Tomorrow Health is one of a significant number of startups operating in the healthcare space. The platform allows carers and patients, those homebound permanently, recovering from surgery or living with chronic conditions, to find durable medical equipment. It also coordinates the logistical issues between payers and insurance providers and takes care of home delivery.
An advantage for users is that it goes further than simply being an online shopping platform for medical supplies, by also using key data to find the most suitable products based on location, insurance coverage, and product specialization. It's also not just targeting patients and their unpaid carers, but healthcare providers as well. The company has made good progress in this regard by partnering up with Medicaid company Geisinger Health.
