You have 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in high-growth, tech-enabled companies (either in-house or a combination of agency & in-house)
You function as a business partner to hiring managers, providing data and market intel to drive towards effective decisions together

What the job involves

Our Talent team is hiring a Contract Technical Recruiter to help scale our exceptional Product team
Serving as a strategic advisor to hiring managers across Product and other technical orgs, you’ll develop inclusive, structured hiring practices to assemble a standout team
We’re in hyper-growth mode and you’ll be instrumental in our trajectory, supporting the mission-critical objective of identifying, engaging, assessing and closing the best talent long-term for Headway’s continued success
Partner with hiring managers across key org functions to scale their respective teams, advising them on search strategy from role intake to close
Collaborating with Sourcers & Coordinators, own full-cycle recruiting and use data to make tactical decisions that improve the end-to-end search process
Collaborate with Sourcers and Hiring Managers to develop DEI sourcing strategy that aligns with our company objectives
Follow a structured hiring process with the goal of reducing bias and making the best hiring decisions

Our take

1 in 4 US citizens are currently living with treatable mental health conditions, however, a vast majority of people are unable to access the care they need, the primary reason being cost. Headway connects clients with therapists who accept insurance as payment and provides independent practitioners with the tools and resources needed to serve their patients and manage administrative workloads.

Headway’s concept is timely, with national mental health under particular strain following events from the past few years. The company facilitates over 300,000 appointments per month and has attracted backing from the likes of Accel and Google Ventures.

Covering 16 states and the District of Columbia, the company intends to broaden its presence across the US using its 2023 Series C funding of $125 million. This is a crucial avenue for further growth, as medical care deserts across the US mean the potential market is vast.
