Who you are

Product Management experience, with an exposure to managing product life cycle, delivery, risk, governance, commercialization of products and experience in the development of a product
Capable of independent and pragmatic pro-active work style, guaranteeing high degree of solutions and delivery achievements
Stakeholder management; the ability to built deep relationships with direct stakeholders and indirect stakeholders internal as well as external
Experience in working on payments products, with good understanding of front-to-back payments processes, market and regulatory trends on real-time payments in the America region and an appreciation of corporate and retail use-cases for real-time payments
Be a team player with good interpersonal skills willing to take initiative pro-actively
Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Other languages is a plus; Portuguese, Spanish & German preferred)
Experience having worked in Agile delivery setups at scale (preferably experience in scrum)

What the job involves

As an Enterprise Account Executive you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building and managing Enterprise accounts, long-term client relationships, and developing key business relationships
The role requires a strong focus on new business development, in addition to, up-selling and cross-selling to existing clients and securing contract renewals
This will be achieved through solution selling, account planning, prospecting to identify high-quality clients, qualifying and developing assigned accounts while understanding the client business environment, educating clients on Applause's product offerings
Work in close cooperation with other teams, such as Product & Sales and other corporate functions covering IT and Operations but also with Clients and Interbank Forums, to maintain and develop the product offering
Define, document, and implement all underlying business requirements and market problems ensuring compliance with Deutsche Bank policies, understand the Instant Payment Risk Profile, Support the regular Risk review of Product in the respective Markets
Manage Dependencies, Risks and Issues in close interaction with the respective domain & Tribe Leads
Own the regional Instant Payments product strategy and roadmap for the Americas, ensuring alignment with global product strategy and regional market opportunities
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle including ideation, design, development, launch, and ongoing optimization of instant payment capabilities
Define and evolve the client value proposition, pricing strategy, and commercialization approach to drive adoption and revenue growth
Monitor and respond to regulatory developments, payment scheme evolution, and market trends, ensuring product readiness and competitive positioning
Partner with technology, operations, compliance, and regional business teams to deliver scalable and resilient instant payment solutions
Represent the product in client engagements, industry forums, and strategic partnerships, strengthening Deutsche Bank’s leadership position in real-time payments
Track product performance, client adoption, and financial outcomes, continuously refining the product roadmap to maximize client value and business impact

Our take

Deutsche Bank is one of Europe's biggest banks, operating in around 60 countries. It has a long history but hasn't struggled to keep up with the changing times. Like launching Vert, a digital payments service for small and medium businesses, and focusing on investments that are good for the environment and society.

The banks performance in 2025 was impressive too. In the first nine months, pre-tax profit reached €7.7B (up 64% from last year) and net profit climbed to €5.6B (a 76% increase). And all business divisions delivered double-digit profit growth, supported by revenue gains and disciplined cost management.

If this wasn't impressive enough, the bank is also making strong progress in ESG, reporting €23B in sustainable financing in the third quarter of 2025 alone. With these healthy finances, a clear strategic direction, and a focus on responsible growth, Deutsche Bank is in a very promising position for the future.
