Who you are
- Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Experience of Navision would be beneficial but not necessary
- Accounting qualifications either studying towards or obtained
- Background in financial accounting, and a basic level of accounting knowledge

What the job involves
- Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Accounts Assistant to join the UK Finance team
- Reporting into: Finance Manager
- Contract Type: Fixed Term (12 months)
- Oversee the month-end close process, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
- Updating and reconciling financial ledgers
- Maintain organized, accurate and complete accounting records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand internal processes and provide financial insights
- Respond to requests from internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to request from external auditors during year-end and interim audits and assist in the preparation of required documentation
- Actively participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Consequently, competitors are having a hard time trying to gain a sizeable edge.
The tech team is the core of the group and the investments made in technology have been substantial over the years. AI and data analysis, through their multiple applications, are helping YNAP redefine the way people purchase clothing and accessories from their smartphones.
YNAP has more challenges ahead. Besides rival companies like Farfetch growing faster lately, direct-to-consumer fashion brands (which have been using YNAP's services so far) are steering their strategy towards in-house e-commerce operations to secure transactions directly. YNAP has responded to these pressures by opening its own European marketplace for D2C sales, sitting separately from its wholesale market. Nevertheless, it will still have to prove that its client brands are stronger with them than without.
