Who you are
- Product Leadership Experience (3+ years) - A proven record of defining, shipping, and iterating on impactful products—especially those centered on customer engagement and retention. You balance customer needs, technical considerations, and business objectives effortlessly
- Strategic Thinking - You move fluidly between high-level vision and detailed execution. Ambiguity doesn’t faze you; you turn it into clarity and momentum
- Data Fluency - You’re comfortable working with metrics, hypotheses, and experimentation. SQL is a plus, but what matters most is your ability to turn data into actionable decisions
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - You communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and lead confidently through influence. Fast-moving environments energize you, and you thrive in short iteration cycles
- Customer Obsession - You’re committed to building products that genuinely improve the lives of dog parents—and their dogs
What the job involves

- You’ll work across product, engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market teams to drive initiatives that activate new sales channels, deepen customer loyalty, and strengthen the core Fi experience
- Your work will directly shape how millions of pet parents engage with Fi and will improve the lives of pets everywhere
- Lead Product Strategy & Execution: Define the long-term vision for Fi’s core experiences and translate it into a clear, actionable roadmap. You’ll influence critical decisions, align cross-functional partners, and lead initiatives from concept to launch
- Deliver Cross-Functional Impact: Partner closely with engineering, design, hardware, data, support, and marketing teams. You bring clarity to ambiguity, unite teams around shared goals, and ensure that execution stays aligned with strategy
- Turn Data Into Insight: Leverage analytics to uncover opportunities, diagnose friction, and evaluate product performance. You use data to guide decisions, drive prioritization, and inspire a culture of learning
- Elevate the Customer Experience: Shape every step of the customer journey—from onboarding to long-term retention. You identify where experiences can be improved and design intuitive solutions that make Fi indispensable
- Launch Features That Drive the Business: Lead launches that improve satisfaction, loyalty, and growth. You consistently raise the bar for quality and deliver value with every release
Our take
For a long time, dog collars and leashes have remained largely unchanged. Fi was set up by a product team drawn from the ranks of Uber, Square, and Google to disrupt the stagnant dog collar space.
Fi's smart collars include tracking and monitoring features that give owners peace-of-mind. They can monitor, for example, the sleep and health of their furry friends. Plus, real-time escape notifications have already saved the lives of dogs.
With a tracking range that far exceeds that of its competitors, the company has seen promising levels of adoption for its collars. Fi continues to innovate, for example with the launch of the Fi Series 3+ which is the world's first AI-powered smart dog collar.
