What the job involves
- To assist with the management and execution of key financial processes to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the department’s operations, we are seeking a Finance Intern to join our Finance & Accounting team
- This role would be starting with part-time hours and transition into full-time hours at the start of the summer
- Process invoices through internal systems, assigning proper GL accounts and cost centers
- Support the approval process for invoices, ensuring correct approval workflows are followed
- Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accurate records and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist with filing daily bank reconciliation paperwork in an organized and timely manner
- Support the update of 1099 vendors in SAP
- Create and maintain a digital W9 file
- Assist with managing and updating chargebacks
- Help identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Prepare basic financial reports based on data gathered, providing insights and analysis
- Help organize and maintain the filing cabinet system for financial records and documentation
- Support the upload of sales tax templates for specific states and support accurate submissions
- Assist with audit preparation
- Creation and maintenance of ACH payment files/templates for accurate and efficient payment processing
- Identify potential customers for ACH collections and assist in outreach and set up
- Upload and manage sales tax exemption certificates for customers into Avalara, maintaining accurate records

Withings was the first company to release such smart-scale products and has expanded its offerings over time. Other products in the Withings range include hybrid watches, blood pressure monitors, and sleep analysis tools.
