Company mission
To bring generative AI to the enterprise.
Role
Who you are
- 7-10+ years of quota-carrying strategic SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas in complex, value-based sales motions targeting Fortune 500 and Global 2000 accounts
- Demonstrated expertise in managing sophisticated enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, navigating procurement processes, and orchestrating cross-functional resources to drive deals through technical evaluations and executive approvals
- Executive presence and communication skills that allow you to credibly engage with C-suite buyers (CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, COOs), translate complex technical concepts into business value, and build authentic relationships based on trust and strategic insight
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to conduct discovery that uncovers underlying business challenges, connects AI capabilities to measurable outcomes, and creates urgency around transformation initiatives
- Experience in outbound prospecting, account mapping, and territory planning, with a hunter mentality that drives you to consistently create new opportunities rather than waiting for inbound leads
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for ownership – you thrive in fast-paced environments where you're expected to figure things out, make decisions with incomplete information, and drive your own success with minimal oversight
- Deep alignment with WRITER's values: you naturally Connect across functions and build collaborative relationships, you Challenge the status quo and aren't afraid to have difficult conversations, and you Own your outcomes with accountability and a commitment to long-term impact
- This role is perfect for high performers who thrive in fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environments where you have the autonomy to drive results and build lasting relationships with both clients and teammates
- If you're energized by meaningful work, the opportunity to make a real impact, and the challenge of selling category-defining technology, we want to hear from you

- Engage C-level executives and senior decision-makers in consultative discovery to understand their business priorities, uncover transformational use cases, and position WRITER as the strategic platform to achieve their AI vision
- Partner cross-functionally with solutions engineering, product, and customer success teams to architect tailored solutions, run successful pilots, and ensure seamless deployments that deliver measurable business outcomes
- Lead complex negotiations involving multi-year contracts, custom pricing structures, and enterprise terms, while maintaining deal momentum and driving consensus across diverse stakeholder groups

Our take
AI-assisted writing tools have taken off over recent years. With the likes of high-exposure company Grammarly accelerating adoption of such tools, a flurry of startups have appeared to offer their own takes. WRITER’s angle is to leverage AI as a means of standardizing and scaling both content and communications for business teams. The tool offers auto filling and inline suggestions that keep content aligned with pre-determined company language and style guides.
This branded fine-tuning function distinguishes it from full copy-generation competitors, as well as from Grammarly itself, which is a more generalist copyediting tool. It subsequently caters to major enterprise clients looking to maintain standards across multiple and sprawling teams, and the company has managed to net major clients like Deloitte, Twitter, UiPath, and Accenture.
While AI-related buzz remains solidly around generative AI's like ChatGPT and Bard, WRITER's narrow target market - in which it has already found success - supplies plenty of scope to grow, as AI copyediting tools look set to rapidly become content industry standard. With continued new launches and updates to its offerings, as well as an impressive $200 million Series C awarded in 2024, the company is well-placed for further success.
