Who you are

We’re looking for people with excellent selling skills who enjoy the challenge of trying to retain customers as well as trying to bring new customers on-board,
Ideally, you'll currently be working in or have previous experience in a contact centre/call centre sales role
We'll supply the equipment needed for you to do the role but you'll still need a strong internet connection. Our minimum speed requirement is 25 Mbps Download and 4 Mbps Upload
You'll also need a dedicated, quiet work space with a work station, plenty of natural light, access to fresh air and no distractions. This cannot be a communal space that is shared by other household members
Smartphone with a minimum: Android phones 9 and later versions Apple phones. Requires iOS 14.0 or later
You’ll need to be currently residing in the UK with eligibility to live and work in the UK too
Able to provide a great customer service experience
A great listener who remains calm under pressure
You love working in a fast-paced and changing environment
You'll be able to demonstrate:

You have a positive can do attitude
You have good interpersonal skills including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers

What the job involves

This role is within our Home Moves contact centre team.
The team receives inbound calls and emails from existing UW customers that want to transfer or close an account for their new home as well as potential new customers that are moving into a home currently supplied by UW
We won’t lie - it’s not always an easy role. You’ll need to be willing to deal with challenging and vulnerable customers
There's a lot to learn and things are always changing, but we’ll give you all the training you need when you join
