Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in an administrative, project management, or operations role
- Demonstrated interest in executive operations, strategy, or Chief of Staff career path
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Proactive, resourceful, and eager to learn
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including internationally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
- Demonstrated interest in leadership, business operations, or project management is a plus
- Experience with productivity tools
What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and adaptable Executive Assistant (EA) to support an executive leader
- This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional with aspirations to develop into a Chief of Staff
- The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the leader’s effectiveness, managing key projects, and facilitating communication across the organization
- Provide high-level administrative support to an executive leader, including calendar management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and correspondence
- Serve as a liaison between executives, internal teams, and external partners
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for meetings and events
- Support the planning and execution of strategic projects and initiatives
- Conduct research and gather information to inform executive decision-making
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Participate in and occasionally lead special projects with cross-functional teams
- Serve as a culture carrier and thought partner, gradually taking on more strategic duties

As the first US company to do this, it's won a leading slate of customers that include the US National Reconnaissance Office, the US Air Force, Geospatial and RSI.
As the urgency of addressing global issues increases, the demand for Capella Space’s services is almost certain to rise. This puts the company in a great position, having already established itself as a key player in the market. In 2025, Capella Space was acquired by IonQ, which will be integrating Capella’s satellite infrastructure with its quantum technology to create a space-based QKD network.
