Who you are
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Able to look at data and find patterns and trends
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with poise and good humor

What the job involves
- As a Summer Intern at Fluent, you will gain a hands-on experience in Product Management, working with a diverse and passionate team
- You will work within a department as a tightly knit team, with a manager whose role is to guide you throughout the summer and ensure that your time is spent making an impact for Fluent
- Our paid internship program starts on Monday, June 1st and runs 10 weeks through Thursday, August 6th
- Interns will work alongside Fluent employees in the office Monday – Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm with an hour lunch every day
- Troubleshoot different software to identify bugs and improvements
- Help to create the best practices and training guides for new products to ensure a smooth roll out of features to our users
- Identify competitors and similar products in the market to identify potential opportunities for Fluent to expand into
- Provide updates to different people and groups on issues and project progress
- Participate and be asked to contribute ideation on new projects and the priority as they relate to the overall business

Fluent provides a data-driven digital marketing platform for businesses looking to find new customers through advertising by leveraging data analytics, digital media properties and simple software integrations. The company achieves this by capturing first-party insights through consumers who are searching for new brands, using predictive modelling to match these audiences with relevant ad campaigns.
Whilst data-driven advertising is nothing new, Fluent has taken the unique angle of collecting first-party data from consumers who sign up to their digital media properties with the intention of finding personalized brand recommendations. This approach ultimately benefits both parties, helping brands to find new customers who are actively looking for their products or services.
