Who you are

Expert knowledge in modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and experience building accessible and scalable web applications
Extensive experience in Component Driven Development using modern UI libraries and with tools like React, Next.js and Typescript
Experience integrating and working with APIs

Value the importance of maintainable code in production and have the ability to debug and find the root cause of an issue quickly

What the job involves

The Engineering & Product Team is a small but mighty team responsible for our entire tech platform
Our platform consists of an external-facing website, a patient platform, a practitioner platform and internal tools
We have key stakeholders across the entire business: sales, commercial, operations and marketing
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help us bring to life delightful user journeys for the users of our platform while we build a platform architected for scale
Work closely with our Patient, Practitioner and Operations Teams
Work collaboratively with our Principal Engineers and other members of the Engineering & Product team on user flows and UI design
Participate in the ideation and own the full development cycle of new features with users in mind
Design, implement, test, and maintain ambitious solutions for scale and sustainability
Be part of the making of technical decisions that will have a direct impact in how our platform grows and evolves
Offer mentorship, code reviews, and clear documentation for fellow engineers

Realising that this is a common issue among women, she founded GetHarley, the first skin and positive ageing telehealth platform aimed at enabling a personalised discovery of skin health clinicians, products and procedures online.

GetHarley combines a cutting-edge technology stack and data science with the knowledge of skilled practitioners to deliver a deeply personalised experience to its customers. The company aims to transform how we think about skincare and healthy ageing, and seems to be making strong progress towards this goal, having already attracted over 1,000 vetted clinicians to its platform since its founding in 2019.

The popularity of its platform and its early commercial success has led to a high degree of investment, most recently in a 2023 Series B funding round. This, combined with its triple-digit annual revenue growth, means that GetHarley is well placed to disrupt the beauty and skin care industry. It is planning to further scale its operations, bringing more professionals onto its platform and hiring new talent, with a longer term goal of expansion into European and US markets.
