Role
Who you are
- 2-3+ years of work experience as an implementation engineer or technical project/program manager with a demonstrated history of working with clients to improve the efficiency of software implementations
- Proficient knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, conditionals, integrations, SDLC, and at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Self-motivated and with a low ego, who thrives at using data to solve strategic and operational challenges, and has a willingness to both work collaboratively and independently
- Strong communication skills to internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Track record of managing multiple clients and concurrent projects
- An understanding and flexibility in working at a high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Bonus points: bootcamp graduates, public safety knowledge, and/or knowledge of low-code tools
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for managing the onboarding and continued maintenance of client accounts from a technical point of view
- In this role, you will be expected to be a subject matter expert for all aspects relating to RapidSOS’s ingress APIs. This includes being up to date on new releases, being knowledgeable of and contributing to available documentation, and other aspects related to implementation
- You will be responsible to answer any technical implementation questions or tasks posed by our clients, as well as any issues that they may have throughout the process
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for our B2B Partners, project manage RapidSOS clients’ launch timelines, and build client workflows
- Develop the logic behind end-to-end client solutions during their technical onboarding and create corresponding test plans / documentation
- Work cross-functionally with other internal teams at RapidSOS, including operations, product, sales engineering, and customer success
- Collaborate with our business development teams and enable them to implement our solutions as efficiently as possible
- Provide customer feedback and create strategic dialogue with product and engineering teams for feature development or improvements
- Proactively identify, recommend, and implement internal operational improvement initiatives
Our take
Emergency response services currently act exclusively on information provided by phone calls. Callers are usually vulnerable and panicked, and this has a negative effect on the expression of important information to phone call receivers. In addition, America's 9-1-1 system was built for landline phones, making it nearly impossible to digitally send data to first responders.
RapidSOS builds tools that provide caller data to emergency services to help them assess situations and make decisions faster. The startup utilizes data from mobile devices, smart devices and security systems to gain valuable insights into users' location, medical history and more. This helps produce a general profile on a caller ID, providing valuable contextual information in emergency situations.
The company continues to release new features and products, such as the first AI co-pilot for 911, and an intelligent safety platform for emergency responders. Having surpassed 1 billion emergencies supported, the company has raised a further round of funding to support continued scaling and the advancement of its tech.
