Who you are
- The person we’re looking for is someone who isn’t afraid of blank space— we want someone who can scale an organization but also roll up their sleeves to drive results
- 8+ years of experience in technical delivery, operations, product, or related fields; 4+ years of people management
- Strong technical background (e.g. computer science, engineering, data analytics)
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex, technical cross-functional projects from inception to completion
- Strong leadership and maturity to build (attract, hire, retain) and scale a world-class organization
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives—written, verbal, and visual
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, especially in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into scalable solutions; proven success influencingcross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Strong business acumen—assessing risks, opportunities, and trade-offs to support short-term needs and long-term goals

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Head of Delivery Operations for the “Data-as-a-Service” (DaaS) business
- In this role, you will lead the team responsible for Snorkel’s data development pipelines, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery of complex datasets for customers at the frontier of GenAI
- You'll be a technical leader who partners closely with cross-functional teams— including research, engineering, and GTM to redefine how data powering frontier AI models is delivered using Snorkel’s state-of-the-art platform and research
- You will drive critical outcomes in a fast-paced environment, working directly with our customers to ensure delivery success.In this founding role, you’ll serve as a key business leader responsible for delivering DaaS customer value, driving operational rigor, people leadership, and strategic decision making for the business
- Reporting to the GM, DaaS, within Snorkel’s executive team, you’ll have the ownership and agency to build from the ground up as a founding member of this rapidly scaling business
- Build the long-term vision, near-term operating plan, metrics, and key areas of investment for the DaaS Delivery team to drive high quality, high volume data pipelines
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of solution delivery, from initial requirements gathering to final implementation; drive the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic data labeling/annotation/curation projects and initiatives, across varying customers and timelines and ensure all customer requirements are delivered on-time, on-budget and to quality expectations
- Lead the delivery operations team to drive high-performance and scale a top performing team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with research, engineering, product, supply, operations, and GTM leaders operate and scale the DaaS business business
- Drive innovation in solutions delivery, exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with solution delivery, developing contingency plans and taking proactive measures to ensure all customers and crossfunctional partners are as successful as possible

Demand for AI is increasing in almost every industry, but the machine learning that fuels it is tedious to set up. In order to train machine learning algorithms, training data must be labelled manually, and this contributes to expenses in time, money and resources when integrating AI within a business.
Snorkel AI develops programmatic approaches to data labelling in order to automate the setup process of machine learning and decrease the required timeframe for a business to begin providing AI services. In addition to these automated data categorization services, the company also integrates data training, management, and analysis into a unified AI-deployment platform.
The complex computer science behind AI setup has resulted in many businesses without computer science backgrounds being left behind, and Snorkel AI has set this as their target audience. And recently, the company raised some serious funding which it plans to use to expand the company;'s engineering, research, and go-to-market efforts.
