Who you are

Have at least 3 years commercial Ruby on Rails experience
Excellent knowledge of HTML / CSS and Javascript
Excellent understanding of SQL and feels comfortable using Linux machine
Be a “full-stack” developer that can deliver functionality with minimal help from others
Understand and use concepts from Object Oriented Programming
Have an appreciation for good code level testing
Have excellent spoken and written English
Be able to work Monday to Friday within our core office hours of 10:00 to 16:00 Irish Summer Time / GMT

What the job involves

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Developer (Mid Level) based in the Republic of Ireland to join our fast growing company
Working with Product Owner designing and implementing new features and Applications
Fixing bugs in existing application
Write tests and execute them on CI
Test features manually on staging environment

Our take

Booking an appointment at local health services can be a troublesome process, especially when an urgent need for consultation is prevented by lengthy waiting lists. Despite the fact that the pandemic caused many services to move online, health consultation has been slow to fully adopt digital solutions, which is where Webdoctor comes in.

Webdoctor provides online doctor services to Irish citizens, allowing users to apply for treatment remotely through an online medical questionnaire, remote consultation, or home health test. The company provides consultations from €25 on an on-demand basis, and offers health services for a variety of conditions.

Many other remote doctor services have appeared in the wake of the pandemic, but Webdoctor has taken a unique approach by specializing in female- and male-specific health conditions, providing a stress-free platform for accessing consultation surrounding these matters. The company also partners with health clinics, ultimately helping to provide high-quality healthcare to patients whilst connecting private doctors with clients - contributing to the the transformation of healthcare.
