Role
Who you are
- 10+ years experience in Enterprise SaaS sales, preferably in MarTech
- 3+ years of experience leading a team of sales professionals
- A high-performing sales manager with a proven track record of consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives
- A skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales staff to exceed targeted sales objectives and deliver high-quality service to customers
- Proven ability to manage both direct and indirect employees in a matrix organization
What the job involves
- As the Director of Sales at Jasper, you will lead the development of an Enterprise and Named team, scaling and supporting them to drive market growth
- In collaboration with other leaders, you will shape and expand Jasper's product and business strategies, setting a clear vision for the organization
- Your role will involve cultivating a culture of excellence, nurturing leadership, and inspiring innovation
- This fully remote role reports to the VP of Sales
- Motivate & inspire an Enterprise Sales team to exceed sales targets
- Collaboratively contribute to sales management & strategies across all segments
- Optimize and improve sales motions in the Enterprise space, leveraging data to drive judgment
- Contribute to Jasper’s product roadmap, specifically helping to productize solutions for our B2B customers and partners
- Create and enhance outbound activities to drive pipeline growth
- Prioritize new and existing leads flow through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest
- Identify and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent success across all members of the team
- Reinforce consistent usage and adoption of sales productivity tools such as SFDC and Gong
- Foster a customer-centric, consultative approach with our customers to ensure a best-in-class experience from start to finish
- Collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple internal and external teams
Our take
Jasper allows enterprises to create written copy and content quickly for a range of purposes, from SEO rankings to ad conversions and social media posts across a growing list of languages.
While AI has been going mainstream across many industries, its use in creative content production, rather than content analysis, has largely been met with doubt. Jasper is attempting to up the standards with its writing assistant, which can generate original long or short form content based on a short brief.
With over 100,000 customers, Jasper is used by a number of high-profile companies such as Google, IBM, and Airbnb. While ChatGPT has been dominating the news space surrounding generative AI, it has significant limits resulting from overburdened servers and a long waitlist to use the product - whereas JasperAI provides faster results and is readily available. The company is well set to see further growth as it rides the rising popularity wave of generative AI.
