Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and at least 2 years of customer facing experience
- You are located in NYC and excited about working together in person, or are available to travel regularly to meet at our headquarters in NYC
- You are available to travel regularly to meet with customers face-to-face
- Proven experience in implementing the code to connect to 3rd party systems with varying schemas and data fetching techniques (such as API and SFTP), including support for importing data from and sending data to those systems. Integration experience with ERP systems or other systems in a supply chain context is preferred
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment, with a demonstrated ability to adapt and scale
- Exceptional communication skills, comfortable in customer-facing and sales roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

What the job involves
- We are seeking an Engineering Lead, ERP Integrations to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will specialize in ERP and Supply Chain Solutions to lead our technical team and drive the implementation of complex projects
- Lead and manage a team of engineers focused on ERP and supply chain solutions
- Oversee the technical design, development, and implementation of ERP systems
- Act as the technical liaison between Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales
- Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and frameworks to improve system performance and scalability
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to team members
- Present technical solutions and project updates to executive leadership and stakeholders

Keeping track of supply chain data manually often ends up meaning operators are flitting between an onslaught of PDFs, email attachments, and other means of communication. Leverage is on a mission to remedy this through its combination of cutting-edge technology and AI, merged into a single platform that aids visibility and insights for supply chain companies.
From supplier status updates to shipment ETAs, Leverage’s platform can integrate into the existing software of its customers, making it easier to deploy and more scalable. In 2022, Leverage claims to have overseen half a billion dollars in purchase order spend for its customers, and saved around 50% of the time spent by logistics companies on what would otherwise be manual processes.
Leverage’s 2022 round of funding is being channeled into product development and supporting a growing customer base. A fresh round was awarded in 2023, and the company has since expanded it's product offering with it's Shipment Visibility product, showing that Leverage is achieving its expansion drive.
