Role
Who you are
- Exceptional knowledge of the Social Media landscape: content optimisation, publishing algorithms, building communities, social listening & reporting, technologies impacting key global platforms
- Experience growing and managing social channels at scale for creative brands who have a high priority, high profile socials program
- Strategic and analytical thinking that can interpret numbers and data into actionable insights and learnings. Be comfortable with excel / sheets
- Creative thinking with a developed, high end taste level in regards to fashion who can come up with original, highly shareable ideas and content pieces, with an innate understanding of what Social First content is
- A strong work ethic & willingness to learn
- A highly organised approach, managing multiple campaigns / projects at once
- Commitment to and excitement for scaling our brand and being part of the mission for the long term
- Willingness to get your hands dirty in a lean startup environment
- Comfortable working under pressure, with the ability to be reactive and flexible in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- Working with a team with best in class Social Media experience, you will be key to achieving the next stage of our ambitious growth plans
- Social Media is at the heart of our brand and we consistently outperform those around us
- You will take the baton to lead its strategy, team, and KPI results, whilst also getting your hands dirty day to day, having the opportunity to work with our Founder, a disruptor in the space
- Architect our social media strategy across all platforms for the long term and short term, working closely with brand, product, paid socials teams and our Founder
- Design and execute big, exciting, cut-through ideas for innovative social-first campaigns that are insight-led and resonate with our target audience & community
- Find and deliver new and exciting ways to engage customers through keeping your finger on the pulse of the industry and our rich data
- Ensure we’re consistently staying at the forefront of the industry, with execution of big ideas, constant reevaluation of what does and doesn’t cut through
- Be hands-on managing the day-to-day implementation of all channel strategies
- Manage and develop the organic social media team. This includes two platform co-ordinators and two roles focused on content creation and ideation
- Make recommendations and action continuous strategy improvement, effectively communicating pivots
- Use planning and software tools to manage sign offs and keep the business informed of the plans across all channels
- Drive reach, engagement, conversion and follower growth, hitting targets set in conjunction with the TALA senior management
- Report on socials performance weekly, using KPIs and trends, always seeking insights that can inform commercial and content strategy
