Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent command of the German and English language is required

- As a Financial Accountant (w/m/d) at HeyJobs, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of our growing company
- Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the recruitment industry through innovative technology, ensuring we continue to help thousands of job seekers find meaningful employment
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies
- Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation
- Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency
