Role
Who you are
- You have 8+ years of experience in product management at SaaS companies, primarily serving large enterprises with responsibilities spanning security, governance, trust, identity, data integrations
- You have a strong technical background and experience with both UX and API driven products, integration paths, and 3rd party product partnerships
- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator
- You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results
- You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
- You have a learning and growth mindset

What the job involves
- As a Glean Product Manager, you’ll help solve a ubiquitous problem that all knowledge workers in the world struggle with on a daily basis
- You’ll deliver best-in-class products for finding, curating, sharing, discovering, and managing knowledge
- We’ve only taken the first step towards our long-term vision of an intelligent work assistant, and we need great product leaders to take us the rest of the way
- We’re currently a very lean product team, so you’ll have an outsized role in shaping both the product roadmap and the product team itself
- You’ll collaborate closely with our stellar Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Success partners to understand our customers and build category-defining tools
- You’ll wear many hats and gain both breadth and depth of experience
- As Glean’s PM for AI Governance, you’ll develop new technologies and product features spanning explainable / transparent AI systems, identification and prevention of various vectors of AI risks, and the observability, security and privacy features around AI agents and underlying data for our customers
- Spending a lot of time with our customers to deeply understand their knowledge needs
- Developing key parts of our product roadmap, marrying customers’ needs with our product vision
- Empowering your team by giving context, setting direction, and building alignment
- Driving customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution
- Coordinating cross-functionally with with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
- Building processes that will scale as our team and company go through rapid growth
Our take
Glean is an intuitive digital assistant which allows employees to search across all their apps and find the information and tools that they need more quickly.
With so many SaaS apps being used by modern day companies, overwhelm and inefficiency inevitably enter the equation. Glean’s search engine is proving popular for how it unifies and centralizes all these distributed tools and data.
It’s been quite a start to life at Glean, having emerged from stealth in 2021, it received a $1B valuation in early 2022, thus achieving unicorn status. Since then, the company has gone on to raise substantial funding and bring its valuation up to $7.2B in 2025. With this impressive growth, its secured some big name customers like Grammarly, databricks, and Rubrik.
That Glean was co-founded by a quartet with senior experience at Google, Microsoft, Uber, and Facebook stands the company in good stead. However, it’s the fact that its search engine is solving a new, but very real problem in the workplace that’s seen its popularity surge so quickly, which it’s likely to continue to do in the future. And its adaptability to include new AI capabilities to its platform, such as generative AI, has Glean well set to see further growth.
